Whenever you see a beautiful outcome you must know that Its behind the scenes where all the creativity and action takes place. It happens to be behind the scenes of Atelier de L’acteur that you find great people helping kids grow happy and healthy. These amazing people are touching the souls and minds of our kids and helping them in coping with the challenges they are encountering on daily basis as kids. They are also helping in shaping the young adults within them, with a beautiful way of expressing their feelings and thoughts. This helps shape mature, tolerant and open minded kids. All of this occurs behind scenes of the theater class given to our kids as theater is a miniature of real life where our kids can play different roles and face other kids with different roles which would teach them how to deal with real life situations. Theater will nurture their imagination and develop their sense of self confidence and self esteem. Theater will help them discover their inner thoughts and inner nature in response to several problematic and ethical situations.
With that said, Youssef and I love the theater class that he takes with the amazing Rita Seif at the Atelier de L’acteur at Abraj theaters. We were so lucky to find her accidentally after a long searching on my end for a drama/theater class for my son Youssef.
My main goal for looking for a theater/drama class for youssef was to help him deal with the stress he had and let him blow some steam off. He was very anxious and stressed last year at his last school were he couldn’t even express properly his thoughts and emotions . And there it was, he felt much better even after a couple of sessions with Rita. To be honest, we cant describe how awesome she is because she is a sweet-hearted person,full of love, and cares for the kids. She spreads love and joy all around the kids and even parents ( we adore her too 😉 that’s without mentioning how passionate she is when preparing and implementing the lessons with the kids. She works on their self development and on their self confidence and self esteem. Rita believes in Maria Montessori approach that says “Free the potential of the child and you will turn the world with him “Maria Montessori”. And that’s what she works on with the kids.
As Youssef and I ended up having many expressive and heart felt moments due to his theater exercises and experiences, we really advise all the kids to try theater/drama class at one time before their adulthood 😉 !
